Is HeyHR separate from HeyBen Accounting?
Yes — HeyHR is the HR product (its own database and portal), designed to sit alongside HeyBen Accounting under the same company. You get specialised HR workflows without mixing payroll PII into the ledger.
Does it support Hong Kong MPF and IR56?
HK MPF is first-class in pay runs and remittance flows. IR56B, E, F and G can be generated for e-filing (XML) with PDF/CSV for records — plus filing-deadline reminders for HR.
Can employees see their own payslips?
Yes. Once HR generates payslips and the staff membership is linked to an employee record, people can open them in the staff portal.
How do manager relationships work?
Each employee can have a direct manager. That powers resignation reminders, passport notices and a clear direct-reports list on the manager’s profile — with cycle protection so reporting lines stay sane.
Is identity data encrypted?
HKID and passport numbers are stored envelope-encrypted with blind indexes. Revealing an ID in the admin UI is audit-logged.
